My Gallery is a Patchwork!
It's a colourful a mash-up of some of my recent works ̴ illustrations, story-tellling oracle illustrations for blog posts that I call Journey Tales, as well as my simple but vibrant felt-tip art that looks great on canvas ̴ you can get a feel for the Spirit of my work and commission me for anything similar, or BUY prints/PDF's of any here that you like... ♥
Most of the works on this page were created in the days when my babies were very small and I was just managing to carve out the tiniest bit of space to draw... so it had to be super-simple, and I just needed to start... planning out a painting and the space to work just felt too big at the time, so, I was in a cafe with a plain-paged moleskine notebook, and I just did one drawing whilst my little baby slept and my boy was at nursery - and that is how I began.
Finding the permission to make the space for my creative self brought such a sense of joy and well-being that it felt natural to want to grow my passion into something more. Gradually as I felt braver about sharing my mummy-blog and drawings, family and friends encouraged me to branch out and try selling my work. So that is what I have done and it has been a true joy!
I'll update this Gallery from time-time, meanwhile head over to my BLOG page or my Facebook Page where I'll post images of these (and other) works prepared for sale - framed and on canvasses and so on...
